Money well spent

The fragrance industry is capable of easily providing candle makers with plenty of options that can initially satisfy the customer. Fragrance, after all, is typically the reason for the candle purchase, with ambient lighting being another. The secret element, at least from our perspective, is how evenly the candle burns, from the first time to the final. Regardless of the candle cost, most candles we've bought start their burn unevenly, leading to continuous puttering around with the wax in between lighting. Not so with the Tortu. The initial burn, which was for about 3 hours, left an evenly distributed pool of wax. It has remained evenly distributed after many more hours of burn time. This is what we paid for. The scent is subtle, persistent, and true to the description. This is not the first time we've had a Tortu candle, and it won't be the last.
