Winter is the season to dream the beginning. Like this great tree we are all rooted in one earth, ever changing, ever growing.
Sid Dickens is a Canadian artist based in Vancouver who has been creating memory blocks since 1994. Each block is handmade using wood block and porcelain-like plaster. He brings out two new collections of tiles each year and simultaneously retires some, destroying the mould so they are never made again therefore making them collectable and sought after.
